Liberty Children’s Home Ladyville, Belize

Liberty Children’s Home is an orphanage in Ladyville, Belize that provides care and shelter for abused, abandoned, and neglected children. In March 2020, The Roots Project along with students from Rhode Island College visited Liberty Children’s Home and engaged in a week-long project to restore their greenhouse so it can be used for hydroponic growing. Unfortunately, the project was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic and we hope to get back as soon as possible to finish what we started with the community there.
